Friday I took leave just to meet Wendy for picking up the costume for next week. It was damn fun. Also buy those white face paint with fake fangs and long nails. After that we went bugis for late lunch and went to bugis street for more shopping.

Saturday was at home and at night meet up with Ju and Raffee to Jenny's wedding at Meritus Mandarin at orchard. Saw loads of ex classmates like Arme, Sharon, Jazz, Songyuan, Karen, Pauline ect.. It was a wonderful time catching up with one another especially arme who I've totally lost contact since we've graduated in 1994.

Sunday went to Queensway to get my new backpack! Bought 55l+10 type. Hugeass sia and it cost $240.. After discount, it cost $170. Then I bought another smaller bag which cost bout $45.. Altogether, discount somore till get both for $210. Happy.. Then walk around and saw shoes! I badly need trekking shoes for my upcoming trip so yeah, bough a normal hi-tek shoes which cost $160 but after discount, got it for $130.. Well, altogether spent about $350 in 1hour plus i am there.. Quickly go home coz dun wanna stay too long as sure i will spend more!

Today I thought of applying leave for my trip but decided to wait till my boss come back from dubai and also if I apply now, they will deduct my pay in which I don't really wanna..

I'm excited bout halloween this sat!!!!!!!!! woohoooo...

Saturday was a public holiday. Deepavali specials. Made appointment with Joey to cut and colour my hair at his salon and since I am goin to B.Batok, I am happy that I will get to eat my fav mee siam stall over there with fried chicken wings.! Yumm yummmm..

Went over to Joey's around 12pm since he says he only open half day since it's a holiday. So I cut and colour my hair brown-greyish-greenish ..ermmm.. don' really know how to explain.. After that at about 3plus, Serene and Phin came over to pick us up. We wanted to go KTV @ Shenton.

So we go in about 5.30pm and Phin left after sending us there. Sing and eat till 8pm and the 3 of us sat outside there like for the longest time talking and catching up on each other. Yeap, we talked till bout 11ish.

Reached home and bathe and logged in MSN and Bob says that he will come over to my place that night to take his bluetooth earpiece which he left it behind when he came over for a visit during hari raya. So he came over at about almost 1am, took his earpiece and go.

Sunday whole day at home and cleaning up. Throw all those Hari Raya leftover cookies and cooked myself fried beef in black pepper sauce. . Leon SMS me and asked where is the buffalo wings at seletar and he went there only to find it close (9.30pm closing).. haha..no tough luck..

Now back in office....do nothing as usual..

Hello to myself! Yeah, there is no visitors since the last I've posted which is 1 year 4 months ago!!..

Why re-open my blog? Because I have so much freaking time to spare! My building project is completed and there's practically NOTHING to do. I've been idling for almost 2 months already. Well, here's what my typical day in office is like:-

7.30am - Reached office, switched on my computer, eat my breakfast and check work emails (not that I have a lot. On good days I got 1 email a day)

8am - Go down to have a smoke

8.10am - Surf the net, check yahoo news, see my facebook, logged in MSN, see CS webbie for any nice updates.

9am - Watch korean/thai drama online

10am- Go down to have a smoke

10.15am - Continue my korean/thai drama

12pm - Lunch (normally lunch in and have a nap)

1pm - Go down for a smoke and come back see facebook updates (normally many updates from friends after lunchtime)

1.30pm - Continue my Korean/thai drama

3pm - Go down for a smoke

3.15pm - Continue my Korean/thai drama

5pm - Pack up and go home.

THESE ARE MY ROUTINE FOR THE PAST FREAKING 2 MONTHS!!!!.. I am soooo bored in office..

Allright, will update my blog from now on.. Sheessshh, it's been a year plus and let me try to recall the major updates for the past years..

Wow..didn't realised it's been very long I no update. Havent even update my Songkran trip (which I've had super fun time on my own) and yes, I will definitely upload the pics and vids here. Seems like I owe too much to this blog coz from last time I said I wanted to upload pics but in the end did not. Kekeke..

Oh, I no more staying at Bugis. Now I staying at Bukit Batok! (waves to bimbo n joey!).. Staying with my old sec sch friend and yes, had much fun together (as in housemates).. Then last weekend Ju and Raffe (also from my old sec sch friends) and we all cooked chilli crab! Ahh.. nice.. Ju stayed overnite on Sat and we all went marketing on Sunday buy groceries ect. Nice to have a very good dinner with good old friends for a change...

OK.. will update later when I go home. Rizal just called and says he's cooking tonight..so no need eat outside.. Ho ho ho..

I dunno, I just love to help out for wedding cermonies. I believe it's like a very joyous occasion whereby I would chip in and help out (of coz being the kaypo me).. Happy..sha la la la...

I am so happy with my new site. Everyone is so good to me. Finally it's a jobsite where everyone bond as a team.! Yes!!

Been working everyday throughout the week till 10pm! Yes, including Saturdays and Sundays.. Except last saturday as I went to Rachel's 1 month old dinner at IBP. Eat at Penang restaurant and I tell you, the food is soo yummiliciousss.. Me, Skitch and Mr.P eat untill very very full. Then saw Viv (been very long time no see her).. Hehehe

Hmm..what else.. Oh, after go back at 10pm I no go to sleep and watched many many korean dramas. Yes, Skitch is joining our drama group also. Welcome Skitch!

Yesterday just confirmed my accomodation at BKK for my march excapades.. Yes, Jiji's wedding date is coming nearer and I'm so damn excited about this! 2 more weeks and I'll be witnessing Thai wedding! and of course enjoy my holidays. But after that, I will be busy not of work but my cousin is getting engage and I'm going to be the decorater for the presents.. Wah..so exciting! Hmm..Gonna think of a theme to do all my creations..

Wah..smell ppl..smell the air..


Last Saturday been camping in office as it was shifting day for us. Shifted many many racks, tables, cabinets, computers to my new office. OK, not me doing the shifting coz we got many bangala workers, but I did unpacked my stuff which is also tiring leh.. Anyway, the whole 2nd floor office (which I am in) only got 2 ppl. Myself and the other Japanese engineer. The rest of the ppl will only move in in late march. For 9th storey at least there are more ppl. About 5 of them. A nicer view (can see the sea!) but got morning sun.. very hot..

I did not went for my friend's son birthday celebration coz I ended late. Then on Sunday rest day and Monday start a brand new workday at new office. Also after that I went to my new rented place at Bugis and yes, a small cozy room with aircon and broadband for me. Only thing which is not good is ..... i cannot smoke! Bleahz..

Now 4th day in new place.. Been liking this place a lot coz it's only 10mins to my office!!.. I can leave my place at 7.40am and reached office before 8am (after buying my breakfast that is)..HEhEhehe.. Well, tomorrow will be back to my home for the weekends..

Oh, my Sepang tickets is here!! WOOHOOO.. Havent book hotel/transport yet. Wah..many many $$$ going to spend this month..

1) New rented place
2) Goin Jiji wedding at Bangkok
3) Going Sepang late March
4) New office the area is so expensive (food, drinks ect)..

But at least I am happy! No $$ can buy my happiness.. Yahoooooooooo...

Today went to eat chilli crab and curry crab at Outram. Not bad. Quite worth the $$ (each person about $55).. including the extras side dishes and few rounds of beers.

Oh, going to a Rachel's birthday party this Sat.. can't wait!

PS: Congrats to Singapore for the winning bid to host the Youth Olympics.. ho ho ho..
PS2: To Miss Kym, your winning gifts going to overdue soon. When want to redeem it!..Been collecting dust lor..hehehe

Things are going smoothly for me so far for the year of the rat.

1) Job Recognition
Finally new jobsite and given some task which my 1st time handling. Good! I like, more things to learn and also going to prove that I'm capable of it! I like my new site very much. Never been happy like this before. All start from scratch right from choosing our office to assign seating and also design many things. These little chores I very much loved to do. Although it keeps me busy (read: been working thruout CNY). But at least I am happy to come back to work. :)

2) Moving to new place
Yes, I rented a room which is very close to my new site. Very nice location and 5mins walk to Bugis. Hehehe. But I will still go back to my own home on weekends. =)

3) CNY lucky draw (not toto/4D ok)
Got the 1st Prize for the office lucky draw. =)

4) Holidays
2 more weeks to short trip to Bangkok for my good friend (Matthew) wedding. Received his email last night and just by reading, I am very very excited to witness his wedding especially seeing him in Thai traditional costume. Ohh..will take many many pics.!

5) Dramas
Burned the midnite oil to watch many K Dramas online. Wah shiok. Very nice! I now got a few K Drama fans/friends especially Bimbo and CL.

6) Friends re-union
Dawn and George became parents last month and going to thier dotter birthday shower next week. The 1st Sole baby is born! Am so happy for them.
Many friends who study/work overseas came back for CNY and meeting them over dinner/kopi. Especiall Gorman who's in UK for the past years finally will get to catch up with him. Very excited!

So how does the Year of the Rat going on for all of you? Good? Wish all of you my good friends a blessed and happy year ahead.

I'm backkkk.. Well, half back I think coz the flu and sore throat didn't seems like going to recover soon. Heard many ppl also tio flu n fever during this period. I cannot take leave (half of my cheena colleagues are on leave) for this period. Also, if i take leave, the doc sure will give me a 'u just want a longg holiday break issit' kind of look.

Today also it's confirmed that after CNY I officially will move to another site. YaY! No more running here and there like a mad person and feeling totally drained out at the end of the day. But still I will do my current job when I moved on to the other site. Most likely I will shift my desk/table/pc/chair from my this site on Saturday! Why Saturday? Coz I think those at tanjong pagar office not working on that day. I don't want those office ppl see me carry desk/chairs..so paiseh..hehehe..

And I need advice.. is it auspicious to move 'house' on 3rd day CNY? Like that i have to spring clean my new place also. Heard cannot do cleaning on CNY? Bad luck? I not really into these things actually but yeah, will do what I can. If cannot hor, then I will tell my admin I want change my moving out/in day!..

It's been a while. Yes, I am busy like farked. Running here and there. Seems like I'm my boss coolie. Oh nairmind, but I love my job especially this new jobsite. Got to learn a lot of things (coz it's design n build).

Okay, what have I been doing.. Oh.. Jay Chou concert! It was great!! Despite having the best seat in the house, I have to stand practically the whole time coz the ppl infront all stand up then have to follow suit coz later sit cannot see!.. Heng I am pretty much tall and can see clearly. Hehe. Well, a ticket and view is worth the price.

Then last Sunday went to eat with Skitch and Mr P to the korean bbq at west coast. I treat them coz Skitch intro me to a sideline job and I just got paid. =)..

Then went to KTV with colleagues. Sang my heart out for 4 hours..

And today I started to feel sick.. Oh oh, thanks to Bimbo, I everyday now watch korean drama online. Have watch 3 drama serial for the past one week.. Each drama got 16 episodes ok!! So there, my time is spending watching it. Hehehe..

Oh well, pics ah.. coming soon.. now just popped some panadol and goin to have an early night today.. sick ah.. sigh... Oh, just incase I did not update again anytime soon, here's wishing all my cheena frens Gong Xi Fa Cai!! Hehehehehehehe... HUAT HUAT!!!

OK ppl! I will be going down to Jay's Concert tomorrow after few rounds of bidding at some auction site!

DON'T want to tell you how much is one farking ticket coz it hurts!.. But it's ok! Just have to forfeit on an all expenses paid to BKK 3D2N inclusive of airfare plus whatever airport taxes I guessed (so you can roughly how much it is)..

But ok lah.. Last I went to his concert was 2 years ago on 26th November ( I remember this date coz his concert was held on my birthday).. and now tomorrow his concert is HIS birthday! Wah.. ho ho ho..

OH, I'd be watching alone.. I tot I could get 2 tics to bring a fren (for translation) along but IF i were to get 2 tics, I can forget about going for an all expenses paid trip to Taiwan then..

These few days got lightning strike many many at around my site office. Whenever the lightning *kabooom*, our temporary site office will be dark coz the power trips. Today got one more time happen and this is what happen..

Time: 2.55pm

*Kabooooommmmm* and power trips...

Admin Girl : Oh no! Not again!.. (searching for the power DB)

QS Girl : Aiyah, I havent save my thing.

Admin Girl: (on back the power from the db) aiyah..eveyday like that one..

After a while, we noticed that we can't received emails so there's only one thing for sure, the modem and telephone line is not working.

Admin Girl : (trying to find the source) all is ON leh.. why still cannot huh??

QS Girl : Yah! Still cannot!

This time the admin girl went over to the QS girl place and see at the back of the computer. She plug out the internet lan cable and ask the QS Girl to try again see if can connect to internet..

QS Girl : ??????????????????????????????

Admin Girl : Why?

QS Girl : U plugged off the cable how to try! Of coz cannot lah!!!

Me : (Discretly laughing at my corner). =)

Saturday I went to work.. Hehee..Been a few months that I never worked on Saturday. So some colleagues were surprised and ask me for numbers! KNN.

Sunday was house cleaning day. Washed laundry, mopped floor and then went to meet Skitch, Kym and Joey to catch up. Also was to just have a advance bday dinner for Joey. Went to Wala and eat many many. Kym came later as dunno what happen also and 3 of us proceed to coffee club to have desserts n coffee. And of course meet Kym there. Since all four of us are smokers, we waited to get the smoking table and wait bout 10mins and we're chope one place. Ahh.. Coffee Club changed it's menu bout 2 weeks ago (claimed the 'manager') and aiyah..too many variety of drinks already. Quite headache and dunno which one to drink. So all ordered and we chit chat till 9.30pm and leave that place. Oh, we bought Joey's present and also exchange xmas presents (a bit late I know). But silly me, I forgotten to bring along Skitch and Kym's pressie coz it's in the other bag. Joey's pressie I can't missed as it's big in size. Nevermind! Sure will pass it to them REAL soon!.. ok..here some picsss..

How can I be so suey on the 2nd day of work for the New 2008!..

It was on Thursday, 3rd January, was having my breakfast mee goreng with chicken wings and egg and while eating it, the chilli fell on my pants! OK, that one nevermind coz my uniform pants is dark blue anyway and can't see clearly. So I continue and work and then at lunchtime (I don't eat lunch due to heavy breakfast) I just tot of drinking hot Milo since outside is cooling, so drinking hot Milo would be damn nice lah. After making Milo, relek relek a bit, surf the web (lunchtime mah) and then wait for my milo to cool down a bit.

Then when I drank my Milo, the Milo overflowed at the side of the cup and spilled over my uniform!!! Fiak! My uniform all now covered with MILO!.. I rushed to the toilet and wash.. But I make it worse instead. I fed up, I sneak out to my desk (I dun want my colleagues to see my 'brown' shirt mah) and quickly put on my jacket and zip it up.. I open my email, wrote an email to my boss that I am taking half day sick leave, shut down my computer, and I clock out and hail a cab outside. Nowadays cab easy to get hor.. Then when reached my home, I remembered I dun have enuff cash! OMG. At least I am not that suey after that coz heng it was comfort taxi and they accept nets!..

So yeap, I took half day coz of this.. my new year suey day.. sigh..

Wish all of you a Happy New Year 2008!





Been a while..yeap.. and this year, my good friend is getting married in March! Yes!! I can't wait to witness his wedding! Going to Bangkok! Yahooo!! Jiji, 2 more months plus and you'd be in different status! I am happy for you!





OK OK, resolutions for 2008...





Nah.. I am not good at resolutions. So far all not happening. So this year, I've discussed with Skitch and she said, to make a list of what I DONT want to change.





Ahh..that would be much easier..


1) Don't quit smoking.


2) Eat whatever I like as long as I am happy.. (so who makes a resolution to lose weight, SCREW U!)


3) Work my ass off and aim for my dream vacation. Yeap, I would scrooge from now on. Take lesser taxis to and off work and stay back claim OT.. But today being the 1st day at work for 2008, I did not stay back coz so suey to work OT on the 1st working day for 2008.





Oh Oh, I got good news oso!





My company is giving EXTRA bonuses for this year!! Woohoo.. Year end bonuses we already took last month (dec).. Then on 31st Dec, a memo was circulated that the company is giving extra bonus.. This somehow keeps some ppl in suspicious mode.





1) Does this means our July bonus will be smaller?





2) Other construction company is giving much more year end bonuses. So they scared many would resign and leave. Thus they come out with this 'extra' bonus.





3) Why do we have to wait till March to get this 'extra' bonuses. Hmmm.. I figured it out. Ppl wont resign now coz wait for March bonus and after march, ppl also would not resign coz July bonus is round the corner. Oh..they're soooo clever..but we're more cleverer.. ho ho ho..





But I don't have the intention to leave (yet).. So, I welcome more bonuses.! HUAT!

Woo hoo...already my 500th posts!!

Felt so damn bored sia.. everyone's having a holiday mood. And myself, I havent even start Xmas shopping!!! OMG!.. Normally I've already busy wrapping gifts..like last year for instance I've finished wrapping all presents on 15th Dec!

This year maybe I'd buy but ask the customer service to wrap it for me instead coz bo time!.. But I like to wrap on my own though.. More touch..more feeling.. Sigh.. Guessed I'd start shopping tomorrow and Sunday and perhaps on Boxing day (where all the more reduced price started)..Ho ho ho..

Oh yesterday Hari Raya.. Nothing much (besides eating many many though). I woke up at 9am and then went for my hair appointment with Doreen at 11am. She's a very busy woman you know. I asked other timings and other days she says she's all fully booked and yesterday at 11am was the ONLY time slot she's free! So bo bian, 11am I went to cut my hair and colour there also coz I myself is rushing for time. Normally early morning must go parents place mah for hari raya. But due to my hair appointment, I can oni go my parents place at 1.30pm. Also I did not colour at Joey's place coz need to travel there. End up Doreen colour for me as well and she gave me 20% discount. Ho ho ho.

So at 1.30pm I went straight to my sis place (where my parents are) and only found out that my dad just leave to go Batam an hour ago (to celebrate Hari Raya part 2 with his 2nd wife there). So I did not see my dad. Bleahz.. Oh, btw, if you all think this ought to be personal stuffs, nah.. I am not the one who likes to keep .. I like to share bout my family and stuff coz I believe if we're happy family, there are more happier family out there.. If we're in disaster or miserable family, there are more families out there in worst fate as well. So yeap, there isn't anything for me to keep a secret.. It's not like I'm going to jail or sumthing. Well, only work wise I'll try to keep more personal coz u know lah some of my jobs liase with government buildings so yeap.. I better keep ssshhh coz they CAN put me to jail!

OK, this Sunday I got BBQ going on.. So please pray that it wont rain!!
